Iron & Miles · Online running coachingPersonalised running and strength training in TrainingPeaks, straight to your watch. Adjusted to what your body tells us after every week.
Most running plans are written for nobody. They do not know your goal, your work week, your knee or the Tuesday you can never make. You stick with them for three weeks and think it is on you.
Here it works the other way round. After our intro call I write your plan, running and strength in one build. It lives in TrainingPeaks, goes straight to your watch and gets adjusted as soon as your feedback says it should.
Two strength sessions a week are part of it. Not as an extra, but because without them the part that carries the running load is missing.
A plan that does not fit your week will not get followed. That is not a discipline problem.
Three things a downloaded plan cannot do.
After our call I build your plan. Running and strength in one, laid over your week and worked back from your goal.
No template with your name dropped in.After your sessions you write what happened. I read it and decide where we go next. Not an algorithm that only sees your pace.
Reply within 72 hours. We start with a field test and set your pace zones from it. After that the numbers show you whether it is working.
Decisions on data, not gut feeling.Ten weeks earlier she was at 5:00 pace for 30 minutes. On race day: 4:59 over the full half marathon, 15 minutes faster than her old time.
L. H.Sub-1:30 half marathon, averaging 4:07 per kilometre.
M. S.New half marathon personal best.
P. W.Sub-two-hour half marathon, evenly paced.
M. F.Thirty minutes, free, no strings. I ask about your goal, your week, your history and what has hurt before. If I think you would be better off somewhere else, I will tell you.
Then I write your plan. Running and strength in one build, set on the days you can actually train. No template with your name dropped in.
You get your access and connect your watch. From then on every session is there, with its purpose, duration and pace zone.
You train and leave feedback on the session. I read it and shape the next weeks around it. The plan grows with you instead of past you.
So you do not start with the wrong expectations. These limits are exactly what keep the price at 199 €.
Three months, because that is how long a change in your running needs before it shows up in the numbers. Whether we are a good fit, we work out calmly beforehand. No risk, no sales pressure.
A full assessment to start, Loom video feedback on your technique and WhatsApp access with replies within 24 hours on weekdays. For people who want more than a plan: someone in their corner.
See Performance Coaching →When pain is the real reason you are not running. Starts with a full movement assessment, looks for the cause instead of treating symptoms, with in-person sessions in the package.
See Rehab Coaching →Running Coaching is fully online, across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Force plates and in-person sessions are not part of it. You get those in Functional & Performance Coaching and Rehab Coaching.
The running coaching costs 199 € a month. There is a three-month minimum term, after that you can cancel monthly. Three months is not a sales trick, it is how long a change in your running takes before you can actually measure it.
For runners with a goal and a full life. Whether you are working towards your first half marathon, have been stuck on the same time for years or want to step up from 10K to the marathon makes no difference. The plan is built around where you are, not around an average.
TrainingPeaks is the platform your plan runs on. You see every session with its duration, pace and purpose, tick it off and leave your feedback. You get access through my coach account, there is nothing extra to book.
Yes. TrainingPeaks sends your sessions to Garmin and most other smartwatches. You do not have to type in intervals. Start the workout on your watch and it guides you through, your data flows back automatically afterwards.
Two strength sessions a week are a fixed part of the plan and included in the price. Running on its own does not make you more robust, it just makes you tired. Strength is what carries the load running creates. No gym? Then we build it so it works at home.
Weekly or every two weeks, depending on the phase and on what your feedback shows. Not by a fixed schedule, but by how your body handled the last week.
No, no WhatsApp. You leave your questions directly on the session in TrainingPeaks and I answer them within 72 hours. That clear boundary is the reason the running coaching costs 199 € and not as much as Performance Coaching.
No. We start where you are. If walk breaks belong in the build-up, there will be walk breaks in the plan. What will not happen: being squeezed into a plan written for someone else.
No. A fixed date makes the planning sharper, but you can start without one and sign up later. Then we build your base first and set the target once it is fixed.
Yes. On the intro call we look at where you are and what you have already done, and we build from there. We do not start from zero.
From 5K and 10K through the half marathon to the marathon. Hybrid goals like Hyrox work too, because strength is already part of the plan.
Then this is the wrong place to start. If pain is the real issue, it needs a proper look at the cause first, and that is what Rehab Coaching with a full assessment is for. Tell me on the intro call and we will sort it out honestly.
Performance Coaching gives you a full assessment to start, Loom video feedback on your technique and WhatsApp access with replies within 24 hours on weekdays. Here you get the same individually written plan, but all communication runs through TrainingPeaks and there is no video analysis.
